However， this value cannot be realized until the process is fully　understood and properly implemented. This paper presents a summary model of the　entire technology transfer process, and describes how the process supports the　commercialization of new or improved assistive technology products. Essentially, the technology transfer process requires cooperation between multiple stakeholder groups，across a series of activities， over an extended period or time.
