Questionnaire survey was done to get information about present situation of Foreign Language Activity at 96 special needs education schools for the deaf in Japan. 66% of respondents answered that they have started some programs related to these activities. More than half of the instructors are classroom teachers. Some schools reported their successful experiences using the unique materials.
